WHAT WE DO

Our program runs for 9-weeks, culminating in a pitch competition at the end of the Fall semester.

THE CURRICULUM

Our accelerator is centred around our proprietary curriculum. Each week we cover a specific topic through taught-workshops, guest-speakers and office-hours. Topics include:

Idea Solidification, Business Plan, Market Research, Sales and Marketing, Legal, Minimum Viable Product, Financing and Pitch

WORKSHOPS

Each venture is paired with a mentor from our team of business advisors. Mentors lead weekly action-based workshops to help fellows tangibly develop their businesses, in addition to providing regular offline support.

GUEST SPEAKERS

Each workshop session is paired with a keynote speaker address. Each speaker is carefully selected to match the material being taught in a given week, based on their professional expertise. The speaker series is a phenomenal opportunity for ventures to engage with some of the most important members of the global entrepreneurship community.

OFFICE HOURS

Office hours are an opportunity for fellows to get even more feedback on their ventures from our board members and other guests (like industry professionals from the realms of Startups, VC, IBD and Consulting).

SO YOU WANT TO JOIN?

IDEAL CANDIDATES

We accept early-stage impact startups that employ a triple bottom line business model. Ventures must have (or intend to have) a holistic review of their value chain as it relates to social and environmental impact. The core competency of your business model must be at the centre of your social impact.

APPLICATION PROCESS

We will be accepting applications to join the SPIRE Accelerator at the beginning of the fall semester (September 2022). When reviewing applications, we look for budding founders with an unwavering passion for social impact.
